All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional
training and experience may be required in some cases.

Applicants will be required to pass Snapping Shoals EMC’s pre-employment physical with drug screen, previous employment verification and background check. If required by the position, applicants must provide a Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) and have the ability to obtain and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Snapping Shoals EMC has a position available for a Technical Analyst II. This position will support all servers, telecommunication and voice systems, desktop and portable computers, data networks and end users.

This is a position with diversified responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following: • Maintain, configure, upgrade and install windows servers and associated software as well as network application software including WSUS and WDS. • Maintain LAN servers; Support all LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructures, including branch offices, substations and tower sites. • Conceptualize, design, approve and document new server projects and concepts related to network security. • Monitor systems for performance • Responsible for preventive, maintenance and equipment repairs • Research and evaluate new technology

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 3 years minimum windows server job experience or 5 years minimum windows server job experience alone. • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of management. • Good negotiating and influencing skills in dealing internal and external contacts. • Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis. • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
