Heat Pump & Water Heater Rebates

Rebates are available when you replace gas heating with an electric heat pump or a gas water heater with a qualifying electric water heater. All rebates are subject to change. Be sure to call our Member Services Department at 770-385-2875 before you begin work. The home must have electric service provided by Snapping Shoals EMC to be eligible.

Existing Homes

• Heat Pump Replacing Gas or Other Fossil Fuel:
  • $500 - any size, complete system
• Electric Water Heater Replacing Gas:
  • $300 - minimum 50 gallons, 4500 watts, dual elements

NOTE: Heat pump rebates are the same for air source, dual fuel and geothermal systems.
