Motorcycle Ride set for September 29

Snapping Shoals EMC’s Annual Ride for the Cure is set for Saturday, September 29, not on September 22 as previously announced. This year’s event will still include a car show.

Registration for the motorcycle ride will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 10 a.m. at Snapping Shoals EMC’s headquarters, located at 14750 Brown Bridge Road in Covington. The registration fee is $25 per rider, which includes a t-shirt. The cost for passengers is $10. Extra t-shirts may be purchased for $15 each. All registered motorcycle ride participants will receive one raffle ticket and may purchase more for the chance to win a variety of prizes.

The ride will leave SSEMC headquarters at 10:30 a.m. and riders will travel about 60 miles throughout our service territory and end at Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough where the car show will be in full swing.

Registration for the car show will take place between 9 a.m. and noon at Glen Haven Baptist Church, located at 345 East Lake Road in McDonough. The car show will end at 2 p.m. Registration for the car show is $20.
