All rebates listed below are effective as of February 1, 2023, and are subject to change or end at any time.

Incentive: Up to $375.

Eligibility and Requirements:

For Standard Heat Pump: Replace your existing unit with a new 16 SEER or 15.2 SEER2 or higher system to receive $50.00 per ton (maximum $250.00).
For Gas-to-Electric Conversion: Replace a gas system with a new 16 SEER or 15.2 SEER2 or higher electric heat pump system to receive **$75.00 per ton** (maximum $375.00).
Must provide AHRI certificate (see example). Dual fuel heat pumps and separately rebated Wi-Fi thermostats are excluded.

Incentive: $250 and $360 in Bill Credits.

Eligibility and Requirements:

EV Charger Rebate: Receive $250.00 when you purchase and install a UL-rated Level 2 EV charger at your home. (NEMA 14-50 adapters do not qualify.)
EV Bill Credit: Receive a $30.00 bill credit per month for 12 months when you purchase or lease an EV (total $360.00). Hybrid vehicles do not qualify for the bill credit.

Residential Energy Efficiency Assistance Program (E-sist)

Snapping Shoals EMC offers additional help to qualified residential members through the E-sist program. This program is designed to provide greater assistance to help you implement crucial energy-saving improvements and lower your long-term energy costs.

General Rebate Requirements

Please review the following requirements before submitting your application:

SSEMC Member: You must be a current Snapping Shoals EMC member to qualify for all programs.
Proof of Purchase: Proof of installation/purchase is required for all items.
Timing: All items must have been purchased within 90 days of the rebate application date.
Limits: Excluding HVAC rebates, only one rebate of its kind is allowed per member household.
Federal Tax Credits: Be sure to visit www.energystar.gov to check for any additional energy efficiency federal tax credits you may qualify for.
