The meter is property of Snapping Shoals EMC (SSEMC). Only SSEMC Authorized Technicians are permitted to install or remove SSEMC meters.
Do Not Cut or Remove Seals. If the seal is missing or appears tampered with, please notify SSEMC immediately so that it can be inspected and replaced.
Do Not Enter Meter Base. To request meter installation or removal, please call 770-786-3484. SSEMC does not charge members for disconnecting service, making necessary repairs, or installing authorized generators.
Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death. Meter tampering also compromises the safety of SSEMC’s electrical system, exposes the general public to potential hazards, and can result in multiple fees, reconnection delays due to permitting requirements, and unsafe meter operation.
